We recommend 6 monthly senior health examinations for all pets over the age of 7 years. Just like humans go to the doctor a little more regularly as they age, so should our senior pets! We have found older pets will live longer and healthier lives when problems can be detected early enough to take advantage of effective treatment and nutritional changes.

A Senior Pet Health Check-up is a great way to get a comprehensive health assessment to detect potentially serious diseases and conditions at the earliest stages. Early detection of any disease gives you and your vet more options to either cure the problem, slow the progression or simply help keep your beloved pet more comfortable in their golden years.

We also recommend annual blood, urine and faecal screening to assess your pet’s internal organ functions.
